Above. The Gaithersburg
show is exceptional not only because it draws more collectors
and dealers than any other railroadiana
show, but also because the venue has so much character
and history. The show is held at the Montgomery
County fairgrounds near the historic town of Gaithersburg,
Maryland. Nearby is a busy CSX mainline, a very old
cemetery, and a beautifully restored ex-Baltimore &
Ohio Railroad station. |
